Finding Ice

Inspired by the film Chasing Ice (2012), I designed this series of posters to reflect the climate crisis of the melting ice caps in the Arctic and Antarctic. Scientists have determined, that at the rate we are warming the planet and increasing our carbon emissions, by 2035 the ice caps will be mostly, if not completely, depleted. This would wreck havoc on any and all cities on the shore, as water levels would rise immensely. I wanted to visually illustrate the gravity of the situation. As the illustrated ice melts the background and poster size increases.
