Artist's Statement
Recently I spent 19 months living in Alaska and each day I was amazed by the beauty that was in my view everywhere I went. It allowed me to appreciate nature even more and grew my desire to take care of the earth. The painting depicts a view in Girdwood Alaska that I personally witnessed, as well as a scene of a factory & pollution covering the earth. It is to represent the harm that we are bringing to the earth and what we are destroying because of it. I hope this painting will bring attention to what we are losing and increase our desire to save the natural
beauty of the earth.
