Artist's Statement

I created this piece as a way to represent what is going on in the world and the future in storefor us. I wanted it to be an interactive item that showed visuals of a beautiful earth, a ruinedearth, and a potential future earth- literally putting the world in your hands. Alongside thesephotos I decided to include brief statements to give some information and make the imagesrelevant to the user. Seeing the progression of the earth over time with some data and ideas isan opportunity to make it personal and get inspired to learn more and do more to help movetowards that optimistic future.
