Artist's Statement

In this artistic creation, I confront the duplicity inherent in the messaging of major corporations, where lofty promises diverge sharply from tangible practices. Through a critical lens, I expose the incongruity exemplified by BP, whose purported "green" initiatives belie their status as significant agents of pollution and climate change. Central to the narrative is the insidious phenomenon of greenwashing, wherein corporations cloak their actions in the guise of environmental stewardship while perpetuating harmful practices.

At the heart of this work lies a fervent resistance against the deceitful allure of greenwashing perpetrated by corporate entities. Greenwashing, an insidious practice whereby grandiose claims of environmental benevolence mask a reality of ecological harm, stands as a focal point of scrutiny. Through visual storytelling and symbolic imagery, I endeavor to provoke introspection and dialogue, compelling viewers to confront the unsettling truth behind corporate rhetoric and to advocate for genuine accountability and sustainable action.
