Nature is resilient, but everything has its limits…and we are breaking them.

Artist's Statement

Learning about our planetary boundaries made me realize just how powerful a force humanity really is now. Overstepping these limits/boundaries is not only problematic but nearing catastrophic for life on our planet Earth. Including ours.

I show a cactus in this image to represent how tough nature can be. Cacti live in some of the harshest climates on earth.

I then show a jawbone from what I believe is a cat of some sort. Representing the impending doom we face if we don’t change how we interact with the world around us. Death will be our future. For animals, plants, and us. So, we must take action. Educate ourselves of the situation from reliable sources, be open-minded, willing to co-operate with others, and make a difference in our world that will create a better future.
