Biography
I’ve been an educator for over two decades and have worked with students ranging from elementary to college age. Teaching college composition classes, however, is my favorite work. I have both a BA and an MS, as well as my Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in literacy curriculum and instruction. My research interests include pop culture and digital literacy, transactional reading theory, critical pedagogy, and self-efficacy in first-year composition students.
