About Me
I'm a Cache Valley native from Hyrum, Utah. I received a B.S. Math/Stat Composite degree from Utah State. I've done Business Intelligence, Credit Risk Analytics, and Statistical Programming in several internships. I enjoy playing sports, investing, and dancing in my spare time.
Why I Came to USU
Despite being a small program, USU’s statistics department has some truly brilliant faculty working and teaching in areas of machine modeling, ensemble development, penalized regression, and data visualization. Since the understanding, enhancement, and application of these techniques are highly relevant to my academic interests, it was an easy choice to do a Masters program at the school I’ve already called home for 4 years.
