About Me
I grew up in Provo, Utah, and earned my bachelor's degree in applied and computational mathematics at Brigham Young University, where I enjoyed exploring the intersection of mathematics and real-world problems. When I'm not working, I love spending time in the Utah mountains with my wife and daughter.
Why I Came to USU
Although I originally came to Utah State with an interest in artificial intelligence, I soon found myself drawn to the elegance of abstract mathematics. Through courses in algebra, representation theory and topology, I developed a passion for exploring deep structural problems. I am now especially interested in quantum approaches to constructing topological invariants.
