UMEP offers mathematics and statistics courses required for math endorsements at middle school and secondary levels. For Statewide Campuses students, 25% Off Tuition Waivers are available--this benefit is in limbo as the USU Statewide Campuses system undergoes restructuring. UMEP courses also qualify for the USBE STEM Endorsement Incentive Program, pending funding from the Utah Legislature each year (reimburses up to $1,500 in costs per class).
We deliver courses required by the Utah State Board of Education for the Secondary Math Endorsement and the Middle School Math Endorsement, beginning with Calculus 1—where there is overlap in requirements, teachers pursuing the new Secondary Special Education Math Endorsement are welcome to enroll in UMEP courses.
