College of Arts & Sciences Research Framework

Faculty in the College of Arts & Sciences (ArtSci) pursue research on scientific, societal, and cultural topics that impact Utah, the nation, and the world. Through their scholarship, mentorship of students, and engagement with the community, ArtSci researchers create innovative discovery and understanding of the human experience. Our faculty produce data, scholarship, interventions, and creative works that energize stakeholders to tackle existing and future challenges facing human kind.

Our research centers, initiatives, institutes, programs and labs encourage interdisciplinary work that prioritizes undergraduate and graduate student mentorship.

ArtSci Research, overseen by the ArtSci Associate Dean for Research, supports faculty research and creative agendas across a broad network of disciplines where creative ideas thrive, with research development opportunities, events and workshops, proposal development support, and helpful resources related to university, college, and extramural funding practices.
