Talk Description
Utah's rocks preserve a phenomenal record of prehistoric life, especially from the Age of Dinosaurs. Over its 63-year history, USU's own Prehistoric Museum in Price, Utah has played an important role in exploring those rocks and telling the story of dinosaurs and other extinct life that once called our region home. Dr. Joshua Lively will explore how our understanding of these organisms has evolved over the last few decades. He will share recent discoveries by the Prehistoric Museum, including ongoing undergraduate research projects and other opportunities for students and the public to get involved with paleontology at USU.
