2023 Musical Works - 2023

For our final project, we decided to individually write a poem and play our respective instruments over it (Morgan on the guitar and Carlin on the piano).

Though I am no musician, I believe music is a powerful way to tell a story. With my short andsimple composition, I tell the story of the world, our Earth.

Throughout many years as an avid hiker, backpacker, and camper, I’ve experienced the frustration of seeing beautiful places torn down from construction and have had to deal with the invasive views and sounds that come along with it.
