Bridges to Change is a healing centered program for people who want to move from harm to hope. Using Mind Body Bridging, participants build self-awareness, accountability, and relationship skills that support safety and respect at home and in the community. Level 1 is the intake step that gets you started.

Who This Program Is For
- People who have used physical, verbal, emotional,
- People under court, probation, or agency referral, as well as those who are self-referred
- People who want to take responsibility for harm and build healthier patterns
What Level 1 Covers
- A private intake meeting with a trained facilitator
- A clear overview of the program pathway and expectations
- Full assessment
- Baseline questionnaires to help track progress
- An introduction to Mind Body Bridging practices you can start using right away
How Level 1 Works
- Register and pay online.
- Scheduling. Our team reaches out to set a 60 to 90 minute intake appointment. In person or virtual options may be available.
- Complete pre intake forms. These help us prepare for your appointment.
- Attend your intake. We review your history, goals, and safety considerations. You receive next steps for Level 2.
After Level 1
You will receive placement guidance for the next level of Bridges to Change along with a start date, group schedule, and any required materials.
Our Approach
Mind Body Bridging
Practical exercises that help calm the body, reduce reactivity, and build awareness in the moment.
Accountability and Repair
Clear responsibility for choices, with a focus on safer behavior now and in the future.
Skills Training
Communication, conflict resolution, boundary setting, stress regulation, and nonviolent problem solving.
Culture and Context
Attention to identity, stress, and life conditions that shape behavior without excusing harm.

Logistics
- Location: I-System Institute (virtual options available)
- Time: Intake appointments are scheduled after registration
- Tuition: To be discussed at intake appointment.
- Documentation: Verification letters provided upon request when program requirements are met
Confidentiality and Reporting
We protect your privacy within the limits of the law. Facilitators are mandated reporters. Safety concerns, child or vulnerable adult abuse, or credible threats may be reported to the proper authorities. In addition, t he program provides participation and progress reports to the referring court or agency.
Policies
- Attendance and punctuality are required once you enroll in the full program
- Respectful conduct is expected in all sessions
- Substance use before or during sessions is not permitted
- Non-compliance may result in removal and notice to referring agencies when applicable
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this counseling or therapy?
Bridges to Change is a therapeutic and skills-based program, but it is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Referrals can be provided.
Can this fulfill court or probation requirements?
Many participants use program completion to satisfy court mandated requirements or conditions of probation . Confirm with your probation officer or agency. We can coordinate when provided with written consent.
What if I have a protective order?
We follow all orders and safety plans. Let us know your situation during intake so we can plan appropriately.
What if I do not finish Level 1?
You will need to re-register when ready. Refund policies are listed on the registration page.
