Community-Engaged Faculty or Staff Award

The Community-Engaged Award recognizes the work of outstanding faculty and staff that exemplify collaboration between USU and the greater community for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity.

Criteria

  1. Faculty: Successfully incorporated community-engaged teaching with demonstrable outcomes and/or conducted outstanding community-engaged research.
  2. Staff: Demonstrates leadership in advancing community engagement at USU.

Nomination Materials

  1. A letter of nomination of up to two pages from the department head or designee, with an explanation as to why they are being nominated.
  2. Abbreviated CV related to the awards criteria. The College Dean’s Office will pull one from Watermark to be included.

Recognition

Recognized at the College Awards Ceremony. Also recognized at the annual CCE Community Engagement Celebration & Banquet.

Due Date

Nominations are due to the box folder provided by Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office during the open nomination window between December 1-15.
