A Semester of The Odyssey

The release of Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey has brought Homer’s epic once again into the limelight. Join us this semester for a series of events that explore Homer’s tale and engage with how a story composed nearly 3000 years ago continues to entertain, challenge, and enthrall its audiences.

The Odyssey UPR Segment
Listen to the recent UPR segment Ancient versus modern depictions of 'The Odyssey', in which USU's Dr. Jacob Butera talks about the Christopher Nolan film, the ancient text, and how the classics resonate with modern readers and viewers!
