Legacy Award

The Legacy of Utah State Award is given each year to recognize and emphasize a student who represents the heart and soul of the university. Students should show a commitment to the institution and their program of study, as well as demonstrate internal involvement and service, department dedication, perseverance during times of adversity, and contribution behind the scenes.

Criteria

  1. Commitment to institution and their program of study
  2. Internal involvement and service
  3. Department dedication
  4. Perseverance during times of adversity
  5. Contribution behind the scenes
  6. Hard worker and good work ethic
  7. Must be a Utah State University student

Nomination Materials

  1. A letter of nomination of up to two pages from the department head or designee.

Recognition

Recognized at the College Awards Ceremony. One winner will be selected to compete as the College representative for the University’s Legacy Award. The winner will be recognized at the annual Robins Awards.

Each department may nominate one person for this award who meets the criteria outlined.

Due Date

Nominations are due to the box folder provided by Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office during the open nomination window between December 1-15.
