Master’s Student Researcher of the Year

The Master’s Student Researcher of the Year is given each year to recognize and emphasize excellence in graduate research. Other scholarly activities may be considered in the selection process, but the main emphasis will be on research and contributions, with a secondary emphasis on GPA.

Criteria

  1. Nominee must be a matriculated student in an ArtSci Master’s degree program.
  2. Nominee must have completed at least one semester in an ArtSci MA, MS, or MFA program.

Nomination Materials

  1. A letter of nomination of up to two pages from the department head or designee.
  2. Abbreviated CV related to the awards criteria provided by the candidate.

Recognition

Recognized at the College Awards Ceremony. Recipient will represent the college in the annual Robins Award competition; and will be recognized at the Student Research Awards Ceremony during Research Week.

Each department may nominate one person for this award who meets the criteria outlined.

Due Date

Nominations are due to the box folder provided by Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office during the open nomination window between December 1-15.
