Biography

I am a science educator with many years of experience teaching a variety of science courses both at the high school and university level. Biology is fascinating, and I love sharing my interest and excitement with my students. My primary role is teaching and coordinating the various sections of Biology 1010 on the Logan campus. I also teach a Genetics and Society course.

Teaching Interests

Effective teaching of large, general education courses. Making biology relevant and improving scientific literacy for non-major students. Adopting and creating OER resources for student use. Evidence-based pedagogy.
