Graduate Scholarships

The Department of Biology administers numerous graduate awards and scholarships available for Graduate Students in good standing in the Department of Biology.

Applications for Spring 2026 semester scholarships will begin on December 1, 2025.

Applications are accepted electronically. Links to instructions and online application forms can be viewed below.

Current Funding Resources

BGSA Travel Award

Travel awards for up to $500 each will be awarded to three eligible biology graduate students during Fall semester. Awarded funds must be used within one year of receiving the travel award.

Applications must be submitted to the form by 11:59 PM on the day of the deadline.

Award recipients will be notified in early to mid November.
