With people throughout our nation and around the world, Utah State University Aggies remember the lives lost and touched by the events of September 11, 2001. On the 25th anniversary of this tragedy, the Heravi Peace Institute joins with the USU Department of Public Safety, the USU Veterans Resource Office and the USU Center for Center for Community Engagement, along with other entities throughout campus and community, to pause, remember, mourn, reflect and engage in service.
Throughout the day on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, Aggies are invited to participate in ways meaningful to each individual and their loved ones.
Commemorative wreaths and photos will be displayed outside Champ Hall on the first floor of Old Main, and at the outdoor 9-11 Memorial north of Huntsman Hall.
