Russell McKenna

Russell T. McKenna, DO graduated from Utah State University in 1996 with a degree in biology. As an Aggie, he enjoyed exploring a variety of subjects, discovering how he learned best, and gaining the academic foundation that prepared him for medical school. One class that left a lasting impact was Dr. Andy Anderson's pathogenic microbiology course, where creative approaches to teaching disease processes helped him begin to think like a physician.

He received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 from Kansas City University. During medical school, Russell discovered his passion for pediatrics and was drawn to the specialty's complexity and problem-solving challenges. Today, he is a pediatrician and co-owner of Canyon Medical Group in Logan, where he has spent years caring for patients and families throughout the community.
