For our project, we decided to compare high end and affordable design in sustainable and unsustainable categories. To do this, we designed four different living rooms each showing adifferent category.

What interested me most in this semester was observing and watching how people react and take action to the climate crisis. I noticed that there is a lot of pessimism and it’s easy to see why.

This photograph shows just a small snapshot of the natural beauty of this world in the shape of a heart. If we don’t show this world some love back, these wonders will disappear.

My accordion art piece represents a dichotomy between two possible futures for our planet. On one side, we see a vibrant and prosperous city where people are able to move around freely without the use of cars or other fossil fuel-powered vehicles.

This semester I had the opportunity to go to Hawaii. I was able to see how our carbon footprint is impacting the coral around the island. The coral close to the shore looked like rocks and lacked a variety of wildlife.
